Gene Dennis Schroeder died at the age of 75 on June 23, 2012 at a local care center.Gene was born March 20, 1937 at Liberty Grove, Wisconsin to Melvin and Lucille (Apple) Schroeder. Gene was a member of the Eagles at Woodburn and the American LegionHe is survived by his sons; Steven and Jon (Andrea) both of Michigan. Two grandchildren; Truman and Lia . A new grandchild to be born in Sept. Companion of 21 years; Joyce Kraft of Woodburn. 3 nieces and 1 nephew.His brother Lynn preceded him in death. in 1994.Interment Service July 21, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Willamette National Cemetery- Portland.Arrangements by Cornwell Colonial Chapel- Woodburn.
