In loving memory of you...Evelyn W. BonnellApril 25, 1921 to October 16, 2013Evelyn,born to Floyd and Opal Walters, April 25, 1921. Attended Tingley High School graduating in 1939. Moved to Des Moines, IA. and graduated from AIB College of Business. After graduation she became a secretary for Newton Manufacturing, making all types of promotional products. They are still in business today. Then briefly for a stock brokerage agency.She met my father, Robert W. Bonnell, in Des Moines. Dad was employed by the Des Moines Register. Soon thereafter, Dad was called into service and eventually landed in Malibu and Fresno Calif. on May 25, 1942, Evelyn and Bob were married in Los Angeles, Ca.After the war, Evelyn and Bob moved to Santa Monica, Ca. and opened their own print shop. In 1951, they had a son, Robert Q. Bonnell. They moved to Westchester in 1952 and then finally settling in West Covina, Ca. in 1956. The family grew up there and in 1979 Bob and Evelyn moved to Wilsonville, OR. where they spent the rest of their days.Evelyn is survived by her Son, Bob Bonnell and Daughter in Law Laurel, in Beaverton. Grandaughter Becky Bonnell and Great Grandaughter Brooke in Beaverton. Scott Bonnell Grandson in Eugene, OR.In Iowa by her Brother-in-Law Harold Brown. In Bedford, IA. by her nice Joni Robison.
