Eva Marie Halter died at the age 99 on March 11, 2016 at her residence. Eva was born October 22, 1916 at Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Canada to Barbara and Peter Borschowa. She came to the states in 1955. Eva graduated from Mt Angel High School and attended beauty school.
She married Anton John Halter at Woodburn OR February 14, 1939. She enjoyed sewing, crochet, cooking, gardening and her family being her greatest joy, priority and blessing.
Eva was a member of Catholic Daughters, Foresters and St. Paul Rodeo Association.
In the later years Eva and Tony enjoyed traveling in their motor home.
Eva always enjoy planning family gatherings, annual summer camp outs and especially Christmas gatherings. Was a joy and blessing to see all of her children, grandchildren and great children, gathering together in love and companionship. We have been so blessed. Life has had its sorrows and hardships along the way, but with faith in God, many prayers, love and support of family and friends we got through it. We have accepted the things we can not change.
Eva is survived by her sons, Ron & ( Jan), Bill &( Lia), 9 grandchildren, 17 grt. grandchildren,. sister, Anne Woehler and brother Jerry &( Joanne) Borschowa. She was preceded in death by her husband Tony of 67 years.
Visitation Tues. Mar. 15, 2016 from 1- 5 PM at Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be held Wed. Mar. 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM at St. Luke Catholic Church.
Interment Service at Belle Passi Memorial Mausoleum- Woodburn.
