Eugene "Gene" Leonard Ferschweiler passed away on May 15, 2025. He was born to Leonard and Pat (Patricia) Ferschweiler on September 8, 1941. Survivors include his wife Barbara, his 3 children, Lynette (Brian) Beyer, Jeff Ferschweiler, and Krisanne Driscoll, 3 step sons, Randy, Gary, and Chris Settell, 5 grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and 17 step great grandchildren. He is survived by his siblings, Rick (Dianne), Larry (Debbie), Sue (Gale) Mills, and Ann Ferschweiler.

Gene enjoyed fishing, trips to Hawaii, Mexico and the casinos.

Rosary will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church, 14013 Manning Rd. NE Gervais, OR., at 10:30. Immediately following the Rosary will be the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00, followed by a reception. Donations may be made to the Mt. Angel Abbey or Sacred Heart School, Gervais.
