Ermelinda "Mela" Flores Aquino was a caring wife, mother, sister, and friend. On the morning of March 4th, 2022 Mela said goodbye to us.

She was born on March 13th, 1961 in San Andres Tzirondaro, Michoacán to parents Guadalaupe Flores Pasqual and Salud Vallejo Simoń. In her teens Ermelinda chased her dreams of a life in the U.S. where she met her husband, Irrallel Ramirez Aquino. Together, they had two children: Carlos and Irrallel.

She loved to garden! She enjoyed spending her time growing flowers, fruits, and vegetables, with her dog and cat, Bella and Chaparro by her side.

Ermelinda enjoyed knitting, arts and crafts, and was a skilled chef. If you were ever around at meal time, you never went home hungry. As a self taught chef, she combined her passion of cooking with generational family recipes to always make you feel apart of the family.



She touched many and will be remembered and missed by family and friends…..



Services will be held at St. Luke Catholic Church this Friday March 11th, 2022 at 11am.
