Elbert "Al" Dale Driver born July 5, 1930 to Lloyd and Ferne (Hostetler)Driver at Witchita, Kansas, passed away Mar. 20, 2015.
At the age of 6, the family moved to Oregon, and he grew up in the Willamette Valley.
After schooling he enlisted in the US Army serving in Korea as a Master Sgt.
He married Shirley Dencer in 1954 who proceeded him in death along with his parents, brother Clifford Driver and sister Donna Landis. He is survived by his son Steven Driver of Eugene, OR, sisters Jean Merklin, Elaine Yoder and brother Keith Driver . Al worked most of his life as a surveyor and engineer for Lane and Dechutes County. Al lived in Senior Estates and was resident of Woodburn since 1999. Celebration of Life service will be held at Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel, Woodburn, OR on March 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM
