Ederlie "Kitty" Edsall, 83 years of age, peacefully passed away
on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at her home, in Woodburn, OR.
Kitty was born August 9, 1933 in Middletown, NY to the late
Edward H. Vanwagner, and Ruby Munn-Vanwagner. She was
the youngest of two children. In February of 1963 Kitty
married Roland S. Edsall and remained his bride for over 50
years. Roland will continue to honor, love, and keep her
memory close in the coming years.
Kitty poured her heart out to those that needed help which
included serving for decades as an Animal Control Officer in
Montgomery, New York; Riverton & West Jordan, Utah. She
also spent many years working as a General Education
Teacher for the Central Utah Correctional Facility.
Kitty was a lover of life! She embraced every moment with a
passion that few of us experience. Her eclectic style of music,
dress, and fashion always turned heads as she challenged the
status quo.
She raised all of her eight children to look life square in the
eyes and never back down. She pressed us all to test the
boundaries and enjoy life to its fullest.
Those surviving children Kitty left to cherish her memory are
Eddie, Wayne, Vickie, Yvonne, Ronald Jr., Vaughn, Shawn, and
the one sharing her warm laughter and company presently;
Louie Jr. (Deceased). Kitty also leaves a host of beautiful
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends,
and coworkers that will remember and celebrate the energy
she had.
