Dorothy Schleiss Koch
Born August 10, 1923 At Rest December 17, 2014
Born in Oswego and grew up on a dairy farm on Pete's Mountain. Her father Anton Schleiss immigrated from Switzerland and her mother Lillian Tapfer Schleiss was born and raised in Oswego.
Dorothy attended Stafford Grade School and graduated from West Linn High School. She married her childhood sweetheart Karl in 1942. Their daughter Kathleen Marie was born in 1947 and they settled down in Stafford.
She is survived by brother Richard Schleiss, daughter Kathleen Favro, grandson Anthony Favro, granddaughter Gina Wunderlich and three beautiful great grandchildren, Tyler, Eleanor, and Brooklyn.
She was a charter member of West Linn Riverview Lions and a member of West Linn Lutheran Church and Oregon City Elks.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lions Eye Bank of Oregon 2201 SE 11th Ave Portland, OR 97214
Private Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
