Dorothy Mary Bernards

Dorothy Bernards died at the age of 94 on May, 22 2018.
She was born in Monitor, Oregon March 8, 1924 to Rudolph John Berning and Minnie (Eull) Berning. Dorothy was one of nine siblings; Isabelle, Talwin, Lloyd, Irene, Louis, Bernice, Mary and Florence. Dorothy was a graduate of the all woman's Mt Angel Academy.
Dorothy met George at a Mt Angel Sodality Dance. They married June 26, 1945. Dorothy was a member of the St Paul Rodeo Assn. and Alter Society. She enjoyed making warm from the oven pies, hot coffee, entertaining Grandchildren, Merlo, raising zinnias, politics, chocolate, antiquing, Christmas, and designing their 1971 new home.
Dorothy is survived by her sister Mary Lebold of Salem, children: Georgene Bernards-Martin and Sarah Wardrop, daughter-in-law Mrs James (Linda) Bernards, grandchildren: Austen Martin, Anna Martin, Ross Wardrop, Kate Wardrop, step grandchildren Robin, Rena, Rico Ramirez, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: May 29, 2018 Rosary 10:30 am, Mass 11:00 am at St Paul Catholic Church, St Paul, Oregon. Interment to follow at St Paul Cemetery.
