Obituary
Dolores Jean Apple-Hayden died at the age of 85 on June 30, 2015.
Dolores was born Sept. 28, 1929 at Logan County, Ohio to Hazel Lucille( Moore)
and Paul Zeno Apple. After attending schools in Ohio she graduated in 1947.
Dolores furthered her education attending University's in Ohio becoming a music
teacher for children, teaching piano, organ, accordion ,clarinet, trumpet, guitar,
marimba and violin until 1973.
Dolores moved to Woodburn in 1973 and began teaching at First Presbyterian Church,
St. Luke Catholic School and Hoodview Church of God until 2000.
Dolores married Dennis Hayden May 6, 2007 in Woodburn. Together they made their home
in Salem. Using her green thumb, Dolores loved growing flowers.
Dolores is survived by her husband Dennis of Keizer, step-children; Rory, Robb, Glen ,Linn Hayden and eight grandchildren and 4 "adopted" daughters, Becky and Bill Johnson, Debbie and Jon Betts, Mary Dunbar and Karen and John Folkerts and many friends.
Funeral service will be held Wed. July 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel.
Private Interment at Belle Passi Memorial Mausoleum- Woodburn.
Arrangements by Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel.
