Dennis (Denny) Leigh Spohn
January 16, 1937-October 7, 2015
Denny was born in Anoka, MN to James and Myrtle Spohn.
He left home at a young age and lived in California for a short time before returning to Minnesota to work. He met and married Judith Anne (Shaft) Spohn in 1959 and immediately started their family, raising four children. They moved to Oregon in 1979, eventually settling in Wilsonville. Denny worked many jobs to support his family. He worked his way up from stock boy to VP at the Bureau of Engraving in Minneapolis. He left the Bureau after 20 years to start his own company, Four Facet Corporation, which he ran until the time of his retirement. He was a partner in many other business ventures including AQL Labs.
With his brother Leonard, Denny built a custom log home in Remer, MN for he and Judy to spend their retirement years in. He enjoyed working on their cabin, always looking for the next project. Denny was very generous and supported multiple causes. He gave a helping hand to many in times of need including family, friends, and employees.
