Dennis Krieske was born in Portland , Oregon , a son of the late Gertrude and Cornelius Krieske. He served in the U.S. Army as a helicopter mechanic. Dennis was an accomplished carpenter with the carpenter's union. In 1984 Dennis and a business partner formed Omni Interiors, an interior and exterior construction company.

Dennis is survived by Shirley Krieske, his loving wife of 37 years, his sons Kerry Krieske of Tigard , Oregon , and Eric Krieske of Woodburn , Oregon , three step-children, eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Dennis is the oldest child in a family of four children and three surviving siblings: Curt Krieske, Brenda Krieske, Andy Boden, and six nephews and two nieces.

Dennis will be remembered for his tireless dedication to his family, and his support and loving guidance to his grandchildren.

Dennis will be honored by a Military Service on Monday July 28 at 2:30 PM at the Willamette National Cemetery in Portland Oregon .

In lieu of flowers, and to honor Dennis's support and service to hospital patients as a Product Management volunteer and a dedicated lifetime blood donor, and a long time volunteer in his community through various organizations, the family suggests donations go to the American Red Cross, Portland , Oregon chapter.
