Bartram, K Delbert (SMSGT USAF (retired) born Nov 10, 1927 to Orval Dow Bartram and Millie Thernton
He pass we away from at age 87 on Nov 5th, 2014 with family by his side.
He was a survivor and survived by his wife of 42 years Tami Bartram. He leaves behind sons, son a law, daughters, grandkids. At 18 years old, he was offered the opportunity to join the Oregon Air National Guard. He
Jumped at the chance as this enhanced his opportunity to further become more advanced in Aviation. On February 1st 1951 he were activated in support of the Korean war. This
gave him the opportunity to leave the national Guard and go directly into the United States Air Force. He was given great assignments including North Africa, Europe, Thailand, and South Korea.
One of his valued awards was the Bronze Star Medal. He retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service with a comment that he would do it all over again in a heart beat!
He leave this beautiful earth with no regrets. He have lived and died in the greatest country that God could have ever conceive, The United States of America. So smile and be happy for me.
He loved his family and friends. He was kind, loving, vulnerable, generous, intelligent, passionate and good listener.
He treated people the way he wanted to be treated. He had a productive manful life and made a difference. We are lucky and blessed to
him in our lives and miss him dearly.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov 15th, 2014 at 11am - 2pm
at the Immanuel Lutheran Church
