David Walter HuttulaMay 18, 1957 - October 25, 2012David Walter Huttula was born in Anacortes, Washington to Walter and Gladys Huttula on May 18, 1957. As a teen, he met and fell in love with Doris Bernhardt, and they married on August 9th, 1980. Dave began his career as an electronic technician, and soon followed his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for homebuilding. For nearly 25 years he worked as a general contractor, constructing homes with pride and care. Along the way, he forged many lifelong friendships with customers and those in the building community. Dave and Doris were married for 32 years, and blessed with two wonderful children, Lauren, 15, and Jake, 11. Dave was dedicated to his family and very involved in their activities such as scouting, sports, music, and drama. He also enjoyed golf, water skiing, and special interest cars. His sense of humor and positive spirit never failed to lighten the hearts of those around him. Dave was a member of the Resurrection Catholic Parish in Stafford.He is survived by his wife, Doris; children Lauren and Jake; mother Gladys; sisters Kathy and Christine; and brother Steve. Please join us in a celebration of life for Dave, our beloved husband, father and friend, on Friday, November 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Catholic Parish, 21060 SW Stafford Road in Tualatin.
