Darlene Koffler was born on June 1st, 1960 in Silverton, OR to Mark and Betty Koffler. She is the youngest of 4 children and is survived by her brother Larry Koffler, sister Donna Wright, brother Rusty Koffler and her two sons: Kameron and Kristopher.She attended St. Luke's Catholic School here in Woodburn and Woodburn High School. She completed her General Education Degree at Chemeketa Community College.Soon after that she began a career in banking as a courier for US Bank. For the past 15 years, she worked at Western Data Pro which is now CHR Solutions, providing customer training and support with custom billing software that assisted clients in the communications industry. She enjoyed the opportunities to travel to different locations to meet with her clients, particularly one trip where she was able to visit Bermuda. Just last year she was nominated for a customer service award.Darlene was a dedicated supporter of the Cub Scouts program for both Kameron and Kristopher. She was a long time volunteer for Mollala's Meals on Wheels program, delivering food to those in need each Wednesday. She sold Avon. She love flowers and enjoyed caring for her yard. She was involved as a team captain for our local Relay For Life event. Darlene served on the board and fundraising committee for the Woodburn Youth Football Association, and assisted with fundraising for Gervais High School athletics. And not too long ago, Darlene served as one of the organizers of her 30 year class reunion.After a valiant and courageous battle with lung cancer, Darlene passed away on Tuesday, September 4th, but not before she had somehow tricked the staff at Hopewell House into giving her three different servings of ice cream that day.
