Daniel Palmer
April 19, 1944 - March 28, 2017
Dan died March 28th at OHSU. He was a bone marrow transplant survivor in good health for more than two years for which we were grateful.
Dan grew up in Mt Angel, Oregon with his six siblings: Helen, Roy, John, Rose, Mike and Mary.
He graduated Mt Angel Prep and attended Gonzaga University for 3-3/4 years, then transferred the last semester to graduate from Oregon State.
He proudly served the Willamette Valley area as a P.G.E. employee for 40 years, retiring in 2010.
Dan is survived by his wife of 44 years, Cindy, and daughters Emily (Mike Maier) and Miriam (Yanira), grandchildren Elliott and Otto.
He is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Marie, sister Helen Beyer and brothers Roy and Mike.
Rosary will be 7pm, Tuesday, April 4th, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Mt Angel.
Funeral will be 11am, Wednesday, April 5th, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Mt Angel.
Burial will be at a later date.
