Christine Magdalene Zollner died at the age of 89 on June 20, 2012 at her residence.Christina was born July 16, 1922 at Strasburg, North Dakota to Ralphael and Dorothy (Wurlinger) Schaffner. Christina came to Oregon in 1947 settling in Mt. Angel, Gervais area.Christina married Raymond J. Zollner in 1950 at Mt. Angel, Oregon. She was a member of the St. Rita Alter Society and supported the Gervais Food Bank. She loved gardening, especially roses, cooking and baking.She is survived by her children; Ramona Polivka of Portland, OR, Michael Gross of Buckeye, AZ, Carl Gross of San Antonio, TX, Dorothy Gross of Mt. Angel, OR and Kenneth Gross of Spanaway, WA. Two brothers; Clem of Salem, OR and Leo Schaffner of Sublimity, OR, 12 grandchildren, 15 grt grandchildren and 1 grt. grt. grandchild.She was preceded in death by husband Raymond in 2008, and 13 brothers and sisters.
