Chad Collins of Woodburn, died in Portland, OR at the VA Medical Hospital on June 8, 2013 at the age of 33. He was born March 11, 1980 in Rogers, Arkansas. He lived in Pea Ridge, Arkansas until he was 18, when he joined the US Navy in October of 1998 and got out October 2008. Chad was a loving son, grandson, son-in-law and uncle, but most of all a loving father, husband and best friend. He loved his family and friends and always loved spending time with them. He loved fishing, outdoors, carving and woodworking but mostly spending time with his kids, wife and family. Chad loved the lord and church. When he died he was a great example of how to live your life for Jesus. He was truly Christ-like and you could see the light shining through him.He was son to Jerry and Jackie Collins, husband to Miriam Collins and father to Lainee and Noah Collins and son-in-law to David and Darcy Fitch. There will be a memorial service Saturday at 10:00am; June 15th in Woodburn Christian Church. Arrangements by Cornwell Colonial Chapel.
