Obituary
Britta Vivi-Ann Annestrand, age 81, died of cancer at Legacy Hospice Center in Tualitin Oregon on Friday July 17, 2015.
Born April 5, 1934 in Gullspang, Sweden she worked as a nurse in the emergency room of a local hospital when she married Stig Annestrand on June 28, 1958. They had two children, Peter born April 17, 1960 and Thomas born March 16, 1965, both in Sweden. The family moved to the USA in 1967 and settled in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Britta worked as an assitant to Dr. Peter Nathan at the Portland Hand Surgery for 15 years. Britta enjoyed extensive travel to foreign countries with her husband and even did some temporary work in a hospital in China. Following retirement, they settled in Charbonneau community in WIlsonville, Oregon.
Britta is survived by her husband Stig, her two sons, Peter in North Carolina, Thomas in Texas, as well as 8 grand children.
