Obituary

Betty was born April 4th, 1933, in Westfield. New Jersey. Upon graduation from Syracuse University, with a BFA degree, she accompanied her husband, Walt Deepers, a Forester, working for the B.I.A. and son, Joseph, to the Indian Agencies in the Pacific Northwest. There, she returned to college in Cheney, Wash., for teacher certification, and then worked as a teacher and free-lance commercial artist, until his death in 1980.

A later marriage, to William E. Judevine, saw her also working as a state-certified alcohol and drug counselor. Upon retirement, she enjoyed RV life and giving art classes, while 'on the road.' She was a member of the Oregon Watercolor Society and Alpha Chi Omega sorority.

Betty leaves behind, son, Joe, grand-daughter Ellyzibeth, brother, Arthur Zeitelhack of Simpsonville, SC., his wife Patty, their 2 children and 3 grandchildren, step-sons Gene and Bob Judevine and 5 step-grandchildren.
