Bernice Bertha Werner, 90, resident of Salem, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Lancaster Village Care Center in Salem. She was born October 4, 1924 in Sidney, Nebraska to Theodore and Regina (Mosel) Juedes. She married Carl Werner on October 18, 1946. Surviving are her sister Gertrude Rehm of Eugene, 4 sons, 2 daughters, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She loved quilting and crocheting for family and friends. Visitation is from 1 to 5 Friday and 9 to 11 on Monday at the Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel in Woodburn. A memorial service is planned Monday Dec. 22, 2014 at 2 PM at Hope Lutheran Church in Woodburn.
