Obituary
Bernard Francis Blem of Woodburn died at the age of 87 on Jan. 28, 2015.
Bernard was born Oct. 7, 1927 at Pembina, North Dakota to John and Mary Blem.
Moved to Oregon in 1940. Bernard married LaVelle Gottsacker Sept. 30, 1950 in Mt. Angel,
Oregon. They made their home in Woodburn. Bernie enjoyed going fishing with his family
and friends.
Bernard is survived by his sons; Dan of Aurora, Jerry of Woodburn, daughters; Diane Blem-Conlon , Cheryl (Joe) Bizon both of Woodburn, 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation Tues. Feb. 3, 2015 from 1-5 PM at Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel- Woodburn.
Funeral Mass Wed. Feb. 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Luke Catholic Church
Private Entombment at Belle Passi Memorial Mausoleum- Woodburn.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
