Barbara Lucille King- Gahler died at the age of 91 on July 13, 2014 at her residence.
Lucille was born May 2, 1923 at Woodburn, Oregon to Amos and Delilah (Miller) Kauffman.
She was a member of Zion Mennonite Church. Lucille married S. Kenneth King May 19, 1941
at Zion Mennonite Church at Hubbard, OR. They moved to Wecoma Beach,OR.
Lucille had lived in Lincoln City for a number of years. There she was a member of the Jr.Womens Club.
Lucille was an Avon Lady for 30 yrs. She came back to the Molalla area when she married Vernon Gahler in 1991 at Hubbard, OR.
Lucille is survived by her husband Vernon, children; Wayne Barry King of Arizona, Lucinda Marlene Garrison of Lincoln City and Sandra Jane King of Keizer, step daughter Joyce Ellen McVey of Canby, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Lucille was preceded in death by her first husband in 1974.
Interment service will be held Friday- July 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Pacific View Memorial Gardens at Otis, OR.
Memorial service will be held Saturday- July 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Zion Mennonite Church- Hubbard, OR.
