Obituary
Arthur (Art) Johnson died at age 91 on Sept 8 2017 at his home in Hubbard, OR. Art was born on 9-21-25 in Bad Axe, MI to Daniel and Grace McKnight Johnson.
Art served in the Navy during WW II from December 1943 to August 1946. He served as a medical corpsman and was proud of his service.
Art earned his BS degree in 1950 and his MA degree in 1951. He worked as an educator in both regular and special education from 1950 to 1982.
He is survived by his daughter Janet Garland, Son and daughter in law Reid and KT, son and daughter in law Ward and Jean , Son Neil, one granddaughter, 3 great grandchildren and his partner Judy.
Art will always be remembered as a hard worker. He enjoyed his garden, carpentry, raising cows and making cider.
Art has requested no service.
