Amelia Robles, 28, Woodburn, Oregon
Amelia passed away peacefully on January 9th, 2025 at OHSU surrounded by over 30 family and friends who gathered in the sudden unexpected loss of life. Amelia was born on November 6th, 1996 in Salem, Oregon to Janet Rodriguez and Ricardo Robles.
Amelia was a lifelong resident of Woodburn with a few years in West Salem. She was known for her positive and strong personality despite challenges of her own life. She had a kind heart, a love for family gatherings, and a dedication to a meaningful and safe life for all. Important to Amelia, she was inseparable from her two fur babies, Bola and Frida Robles. Her laughter was contagious, always filled a room with positivity and she will be remembered in our hearts.
After graduating from Woodburn High School in 2014, Amelia pursued a career in Social Services, where she enjoyed a successful career at Oregon Department of Human Services. She graduated in 2019 from Portland State University. At the time of her death Amelia had been accepted into the PSU Masters Program in Sociology.
In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, and especially time with her nieces, nephews and her god children.
Amelia is survived by her parents Janet Rodriguez and Ricardo Robles. Along with two sisters Jolene and Carmela Robles, two brothers Ricardo Robles and Eduardo Garcia. Her grandparents Candelaria Garcia, Domingo and Guadalupe Robles. Including several aunts and uncles, Joe Rodriguez of Madera California, Jorge & Shari Rodriguez of Sacramento, Joel & Julia Rodriguez of Sacramento, Jaime & Velma Rodriguez of Woodburn. Korina Navarro of Keizer, Mario Pacheco of Silverton, Efrain (Cuco) & Casey Robles of Woodburn, Jerry Ambris of Salem and Andrea Ambris of Woodburn, Melinda Robles of Salem, Elizabeth & Augstin of Woodburn, Emmanuel Robles of Woodburn, and Yasmine Robles of Wilsonville. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Clara Perez and Jose L. Rodriguez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday January 16, 2025 between 12:00PM-3:00PM at Simon Cornwell Funeral Home
