Alexander C. Shevchuk passed away peacefully alongside his family on February 11, 2026, at the age of 90. He was born on July 22, 1935, in Aksu, Sinkiang, China, to Cergei and Anna Shevchuk. God led his life to ministry as a Assemblies of God Missionary, preaching the gospel to the Russian people through radio broadcasting along with his late wife, Anna V. Shevchuk in Manilla, Philippines.

Alex is survived by his son Peter Shevchuk (wife Jennifer, grandson Nicholas and granddaughter Grace), his son Benjamin Shevchuk (his wife Cheryl, grandson Andrew and granddaughter Anna Claire) and his daughter Ruth Markham (husband Jim, grandson Joshua, grandson Joel, daughter-in-law Leanna, great grandson Calix, great granddaughter Harper and great grandson Jackson).
