With great sadness on September 23rd our beloved Alex sr ortega left this world due to his battle with cancer. He was a fighter but his heart and soul was ready to be reunited with his father , as well as many other beloved ortegas who left this world to soon. Alex is survived by his four children Alex junior ortega (Pelon), Erika Matias (chubs) Alexandra Ortega (Budda)and Enrique Ortega (Bobo) . .His mother who he loves dearly Carmen Gonzalez and his loving siblings Rosalinda Ortega , Elsie Vallejo , Javier Ortega, and Ricardo Ortega . He also was survived by his grandchildren who he loved dearly that put a smile on his face . His life long friend who he cared for deeply in his own way Irene Quintero . He was cared for very deeply by his nieces and nephews who he will forever leave an imprint in their lives . Woodburn knew the Ortega brothers as the dynamic trio Stallion, horse ,and pony .He was a beloved grandfather to multiple grandchildren who he loved beyond words . Grandchildren he would do anything for to put a smile on their face . He dedicated his life to always supporting his children as well as many others who he took under his roof as his own . He may have had the title of tio but he knew in his heart his nieces and nephews had a special place for him as a father figure .He was and will forever be remembered as someone who had an impact on not only the lives of his children , grand children , family , but also others he guided with his love and compassion. He will always have an impact on those who came in contact with him . He was and will forever be remembered as someone who had a great impact in many peoples lives but also his community . May he rest in peace knowing all those who loved him dearly will mourn and grieve together while we continue his legacy of giving back to our youth and our community. Anyone who he came in contact with and the community he had a big impact on will take so many life lessons and guidance from all he gave to us and we will forever give back to him on our journey of life .
