Dolores P. Lemm (Perez, JuÃ¡rez)May 27, 1935 - June 2, 2013Born in La Junta, Colorado to Pete and Mildred Perez, Dolores was the first of six children. Dolores was married at the tender age of 16 to Paul S. JuÃ¡rez and raised a family of four children, two daughters and two sons.Dolores received her GED in 1967 and continued her education to become a physician's assistant in Lynnwood, WA where she worked at the Dr.'s Clinic for a number of years and then went on to work for Watt's Ophthalmic Clinic for an additional 15 years. Dolores always strived to be the best in whatever endeavor she set her sights on and switched gears mid-life to obtain her Washington State Real Estate license. In retirement she learned to paint and became an accomplished artist.Dolores will always be remembered as a loving mother, a kind and generous woman and a wonderful sister, auntie, grandmother and friend. She held a strong belief in God and this conviction was a guiding principal in her life. Dolores enjoyed many activities: she was an excellent cook and a gifted artist in the mediums of oils, acrylics and watercolors. She enjoyed traveling throughout the world to experience culture and art and loved her family. Other interests included gardening and interior decorating. As part of her final wishes, Dolores was cremated and her ashes will be scattered at sea per her request so she may continue her love of exploration "traveling the world by waterâ?¦"She is survived by all of her children: Elizabeth L. JuÃ¡rez-Brockway and husband Roger Brockway of Portland, OR; Step-Grandson Jim Brockway and wife Stacey Brockway, and two great-grandchildren, Jesse Brockway and Amber Brockway all of Greeley, CO; Paul D. JuÃ¡rez and wife Patricia Matthews- JuÃ¡rez of Memphis, TN and two granddaughters, Erin JuÃ¡rez of New York, NY and Kristin JuÃ¡rez and husband Rafael Tapias of Atlanta, GA; Steven M. JuÃ¡rez and wife Janis JuÃ¡rez of Redmond, WA and Michelle M. JuÃ¡rez and husband Jeff Cimaomo of Seattle, WA.Additional survivors include two brothers, Robert Perez of Anchorage, AK and Joseph Perez of Bellevue, WA and two sisters, Mary Maver of Westminister, CA and Peggy Palofax of El Paso, TX and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Pete and Mildred Perez of Moses Lake, WA, second husband Duane A. Lemm of Yuma, AZ and younger brother Pete Perez, Jr. of Sequim, WA. The family also wishes to recognize Dolores' many friends in the Charbonneau community that helped her in so many ways throughout these past years and difficult times.
